Fri: I really wanted to have dinner with friends to celebrate Mon's public holi. Yea` Mon no school..
Then Zhu asked me out for dinner with the others and I agreed! I was hoping that Xiang could come too but she couldn't because she had to meet her boyfriend. AaRGH` ah Di had to go home with Grace and Big Nerd wanted to have dinner with his family... so It was just me, Lao fo ye(dolphin), Lao se pei 1 (Ter Ter), Lao se pei 2 (Zhu) and Lao Da (Wu Lao) who went for dinner. Even though only a few people went for dinner, I was still glad with the company I had because they are so fun to be with!
wE went to Bishan for dinner. Before we decided on the place, Lao fo ye, as thoughful as she is, asked Zhu to have dinner somewhere near my home, preferably at Bukit Batok (my home). Ha ha.. Zhu was so shocked when he heard of that but Lao Fo ye was serious. Anyway, because it was too far for the rest, we eventually decided to go to Bishan.
When we reached Bishan, me, Lao Fo ye, Lao se pei 2 and Lao Da had to wait for Lao Se Pei 1 before we could decide on the place to eat. When we were on the train we were already deciding where to go. Suddenly, Lao Fo ye said: "Serena!!!! You wear red shirt (outlet shirt) !!! U outlier then have to decide where to eat! " I was so shocked and it was so funny to me, I started laughing. It was too lame for me. I then started to say: " LAO FO YE!! u wear T-shirt, all of us wearing collar shirt. U are outlier! have to decide!!!!" We continued thinking of more differences to certify ourselves us OUTLIERS. hahaha...
When Lao Se Pei 1 arrived at Bishan's MRT station, we decided to have a game to decide where to eat. We were playing the game just outside the MRT station with so many people around us. Lao se pei 2 (Zhu) suggested playing the number game. Zhu said the person who ZHONG will have to decide where to eat. Lao Fo Ye (dolp) then interupted and said: " NO! each of us decide where to go first before we play." Ter Ter chose Long John Silvers, Zhu chose KFC, Lao Da chose Ajisen, Dolphin chose a high-class dim-sum place and I chose Pastamania! Each of us were to put out a number from 1 to 5. Zhu would then count the total and we would count the total number in a round to see which person the total number would land on. Guess what? It landed on me. Yea` We then headed to pastamania for dinner.
It was so crowded at Pastamania, we had to seat at the front. The queue was like super long lorz.. We spent 10 mins deciding what to eat. Being the indecisive person that I was, I was the last to decide.
Ter Ter decided on "Carbonara", Zhu on "Ham and sausage baked rice", Lao Da on "Prawns and Shrooms", Dolphin on" Marinara" and I decided on "Beef Bolognese". When thinking of the combo to pick: Combo C ( Drink and Garlic bread = $2.50) Combo B: ( not sure = $2.90) Combo A (Drink, Garlice Bread and Soup = $3.90), I wanted Combo C because it was the cheapest. That sickening Ter Ter then said, " I don't care, take A! I pay for u" I couldn't stop him because he was the one ordering and I was thinking: " Why not? might as well splurge for once and taste the soup." All of us ordered Combo C. I actually wanted to queue but then Zhu stopped me with a question: "WHY?" I said to queue. He then said, I should be the one to queue. He then beat me to the queue with Ter Ter.
The dinner was so awesome! the company was also great. They are all very nice people! Thank God for them!!
Counting : I spent $10.10 on dinner. Total: $10.10+$14.80= $24.90
