:::: [ my gosh ] ::::
haaaa.. today was a fun day man! i was slacking the entire day, watching the drama that i borrowed from my 3 pals, Jaclyn, corrine and catherine. Thanks gals :) w/o u, I wouldn't been able to watch "Stairway to Heaven" and I would be waiting week after week to watch the next episode. heeZ. it is really a cool drama even though it is filled with so much sorrow.
Think that's how i spent today? nope, you're wrong! i went to yew tee amusement park today!!!!! cool right? yea` went with michelle, ah xiang, banana and si yu. ah ya, so sad that ah di and grace couldn't join us. miss u gals. I was supposed to meet them at yew tee mrt control station at 7pm but I was late. alamak* wo bu si gu yi de. sorry :P
Before having fun at the amusement park, we first went to have our dinner at the yew tee food court. I don't know why I didn't feel like eating at that time but I still made myself buy a bowl of fishball noodles which turned out to be HORRIBLE. I haven't tasted that bad fishball noodles in a long time. The soup was nauseating and it was really quite normal. haha.. i found out that ah xiang really loves noodles! she should be the Noodle Queen. It seems that she always eats noodles whenever we have our meal together. Throughout dinner, we were having a "heated" argument. ah xiang said she had no money for the rides at the amusement park. I didn't understand why she would not have money because we already agreed last week that we would go to the amusement park today. ah xiang, u purposely one is it? haha.. we were all daring ah xiang to take a ride on the ferris wheel. Michelle said told ah xiang that if me, si yu and michelle all went to ride the ferris wheel, ah xiang and banana would have to also. We kept arguing and persuading ah xiang to go on the rides with us. Ah xiang finally agreed. I don't know why but I had this feeling that she would back out later.
When we reached the amusement park cum funfair, we actually wanted our first ride to be the ferris wheel but we were exploring the other rides and our attention was suddenly captured by the ride in front of us "Airforce 1". We decided to see how the ride turned out before deciding whether we would go on it. The ride was totally crazy! I'm not really good at describing it, hope you can see at least a faint picture of what the ride was like after my description. hopefully :P the ride was designed in a way that the people would face each other. It was like a room with four walls except that the seats were the walls facing each other and it was not so stuffy as it would be like in the room. We were surrounded by open air. The seats would first spin circles after circles and with each spin, it would go higher and higher until it could almost touch the sky. I'm not exaggerating. It was really really HIGH.
Me and michelle decided to try it out, with ah xiang egging us on. We were actually reluctant not because the ride was scary but because it was so expensive! That ride was 3 tokens and each token was $2.50, which is $7.50 in all for one ride. Is this daylight (excuse me, nighttime) robbery or what? I don't think we would have gone on the ride w/o ah xiang egging us on because it was really so expensive. Even ESCAPE is so much cheaper. Anyway, me and michelle the two daring ladies decided to kill two birds with one stone by proving to ah xiang we were indeed daring enough to go on the crazy ride and also taking this opportunity to have fun. Me and michelle marched to the token counter, handed over our precious $7.50 and then went to the seats of the ride. It was really hard getting on the seats because it was so high. Things were really awkward for michelle because she was wearing a skirt, the seat was so high and a guy was seating directly opposite us. I'm really sorry I didn't know how to help you michelle. In the end, with much effort and determination, we got seated and fastened with the whatever u call it safety thingy and we were ready for the ride!
Before the ride, I was jia you-ing michelle and praying to God to protect us because I knew the ride was very dangerous. Then, the ride started. It was pretty exhilarating and breath-taking at first. Then, it became heart-stopping. When it got to the highest point, I had a bad feeling that I would fall out of my seat and I hung on for dear life, all the while screaming. But I gotta admit, even though the ride was so dangerous and life-threatening, it was totally OUT-OF THIS-WORLD! believe me, u got to try it to understand! I can understand now how my clothes feel when they are being washed. Being tossed and turned up and down, up and down, up and down, well u know what I mean. I felt like I was in a washing machine. Totally cool~
After that washing machine experience, we decided to go on a second ride : "The Ghost Train" haaa. It cost $5. I don't think it was worth it. I thought it would be pretty exciting to take a ride through the haunted house and scare myself to death but it turned out otherwise. It was not scary at all! The place was so dark, it was so hard to see anything. But it was still fun because I took the ride with ah xiang. hahaha..
After that, we left to walk around the pasar malam beside the funfair. I spotted a really cute Hello Kitty bag at one of the shops and I just had to buy it! okok, actually I saw two cute Hello Kitty bags but I had to decide on one. The saleslady really had a bad attitude. Because the bags were being hung, we called for her to help me take the bag down for me to try. When she asked me, I told her I didn't know which bag to try first. She then said to call her only when I made up my mind. Actually my mind was already made up, I was just hesitating. Turns out the bag that I decided to try first wasn't the one. After trying the other bag and after comments from ah xiang, si yu, banana and michelle, I also felt it would be better to buy the other cute Hello Kitty bag. The bag cost $15. I think it was reasonable enough. But the only disadvantage is that it is pink. I'm really afraid I wouldn't know how to keep it clean and black-free. aaargggh. so troublesome, have to take care of my bag le. I'm really so happy today because I got to spend the day with my friends, got to go on the crazy ride and bought my Hello Kitty bag! Of course, I wanna thank God for blessing me with all these and protecting me and Michelle during the ride. I know God, its because of you that I'm able to be back at home, unscathed. Thank u God.
