Kittys had lunch together at Bishan Junction 8 on Mon! actually ah xiang and mic was supposed to go with us but because of an unexpected event, only Kitty 1 and 2 went together. haha.. I can't believe it man. We went cystal jade! Im finally able to go to a restaurant that i've heard for so long. I was so excited because I heard their food was really delicious . Thanks to Yan xin who brought me there :) The environment was very peaceful and had the ambience of a chinese restaurant. It was like so cool!
However, when I saw the prices of the food I just "sian diao". I think the cheapest there is around 5+ which was actually pretty ok for something from a chinese restaurant like Crystal Jade. I used to think that it was expensive, like above $10 expensive but I guess I was half right :P I ordered their famous porridge, Kitty ordered noodles and we both had coke.
I enjoyed my coke because part of the reason was the glass in which it was served. I really like the glass because it was so inviting and it promised a cool enjoyable drink.
I ordered chicken and mushroom porridge and it was ok but a little plain. I expected like WOW food from crystal jade but to admit it, it was ok la. I didn't really like the chicken because it didn't seem fully cooked to me. The porridge was grainless and a bit plain, I get the feeling that I can't appreciate this type of porridge because maybe I'm used to the "grainy" ones.
The food was so so but the company and conversation was great!
I'm really glad to have a friend like kitty coz its so easy to talk to her and she's also a great friend! Besides that, she gives good advice, I can always trust her on that. I wasn't angry with ah xiang because at least I still had Kitty to have lunch with. Thank God for that :)

rem our lunch date next mon! haha.. we will be going pizza hut to celebrate! I can't wait :P hope to have more of these with u! we kittys will go and try all the nice food in Singapore! settled! confirm + chop!
really hope to feel better by then. I have a bad flu and sore throat now.. its so painful to talk. I wanna get well before next week to really celebrate.. pray to God for a speedy recovery.
can u believe that I haven't fallen sick for a long time? I was like wishing during TEP that I would fall sick so I could claim the leave but I still stayed healthy until now. ok la, I know its a bit siao but alamak.. falling sick now is really a bad time.
