oh my gosh! year 2 is just so stressful with projects and presentations popping up.. SIAN! im really not used to it. just goes to show i've been slacking too much :P now i truly realise that yr 1 is really a HOney Moon year. aaarrrggh~
haha.. went to bugis today for ice cream at Swensens!!!
cool man. went with ah xiang, ah di and yan xin.. mic was supposed to join us but she got a call from her boss telling her to go work. sorry mic didn't go marina square de swensen to eat with u :(
Swensen's food is really expensive but I can say that their ice cream and fries are super because that's just what i had! Me, ah di and yanxin ordered ice cream then we shared the fries with ah xiang who didn't order any ice cream but instead opted for the Soup-of-the-day : "Cream of mushroom". wow.. love mushroom soup but i decided not to order coz it was $4 dollars. thank goodness i didn't because the ice cream ($7.80?), fries ($1.30 after sharing) and service charge all that is enough to burn my pocket. i paid around $9 plus in all.
it is really so expensive!
Me and ah di ordered the Ring-a-ding-a-ling (haha.. cool name right? i had fun ordering it) and yan xin had merri-mint! yea!!!! the ice cream was so amazing and the fries was the best i ever tasted! honest!!!!! still haven't found other fries that can rival it.
However, the service there wasn't really good. I heard from xiang that service people in other branches will refill water but our water was never refilled at all. Yan xin wasn't even given her water. my gosh! and service charge is like $4.
what man..
at least the food there was worth its price :)
After that went to chinatown to shop around before heading home.. thanks yan xin and ah di for your patience for shopping with me for my friend's birthday present! thank u so much.
I dunno why shopping today was exceptionally tiring. am i getting old? don't think so. I'm young at heart even though i'm getting older by the day. haha
