haha.. i finally decided to update because im so bored.
I actually wanted to in the first week of work, but i was afraid that i would get into trouble.
But now that I think of it, i don't think anyone would scold me because this is the working world man. its not school :P
that time the managing director also walk past my table when i using singtel. dunno how also. maybe he will remember me as the singtel girl. haha
Its already the second week of work. yippeee~
Congrats to all in their second week too... congrats to me too :)
The first week was so slow and I kept falling to sleep the first few days because I wasnt used to waking up so early and working the whole day.
But, i think my body is used to it now :) anyways, i feel healthier sleeping early and waking up early.
The company I'm posted to is GE Commercial financing.
It is such a beautiful company. I still think it is even in my first week.
One reason is beacause of the view that the company has. It just seems to swallow u up and its so beautiful.
You can see miles away.
Every window just contains a different beautiful view.
The kitchen's view shows all of suntec's towers and when i look down, i can see the fountain of wealth and the water all flowing down. so nice! i love it :)
Most of the people, actually all that i've seen are nice and friendly.
Its just a nice environment to work in. I'll update when i find a meanie.
I'm posted to the underwriting dept. where i have to spread financial statements and analyse each company's credit worthiness.
This is neccessary as our company, being a finance company lends money and so we the employees have to find trustworthy companies with good financial records to lend to.
Its ok i guess except that I really can't stand it when i have no work to do.
Its so boring. B-O-R-I-N-G all capitals.
I've realised something during the attachment and that is I must have work to do! it may be a bit crazy to you but i dunno why i just like doing work.
It just gives me a sense of achievement when im done :) crazy! ya i know
Enough about my company, I think i'll talk about suntec now.
Because I rarely went to suntec, I didn't realise how big it was until now.
There are so many shopping places and gazillion of places and restaurants to eat at.
Its so cool.. this place is really for me even though its far from home.
I want to try all the food here!!! oh my gosh.. but i really think that if i continue to eat good food everyday, its like my pay will all be used up by food. haha
Food is really one of my big love.
I can't wait to go to Gelare later.
I hear it has really nice food, haven't been there before.
wanna thank God for putting me where i am now and i pray that he will continue to guide me. jia you jia you!!!
