hey guys, im really so sorry for the lack of updates. I'm either too busy to update, have too much to update that makes me don't feel like updating or too tired to update. Well, u get the picture.
It's just that i don't feel like myself lately. In fact, its been a long time since I was myself. Its horrible. I'm just living from day to day and not making anything out of it.
This is not me.
I understand how easy it is for 9-5 ppl to do this because when we get back from work, we're too tired to do anything else, sometimes even too tired to go out after work. and after going to bed, its a new day again, where i will be working the entire day that is. B-O-R-I-N-G.
I miss having fun. just feel like doing something crazy :)
I miss all my friends too! wish i could spend more time with you. I feel so anti social nowadays.
There's plenty for me to update that i don't even feel like starting :)
I'll just update the main event of each day then

I went on a movie date with jia xing and cat. whoooppee~ We went to watch Ice Age II. unbelievable right? :P
Its been a really long time since I last went to watch a movie. I can't even remember when.
It was just really fun to go watch a movie after work instead of the normal routine of going straight home.
so yeah, I wasn't really excited watching the movie because I remembered vaguely that I watched the first series before and I fell asleep. I just remembered the starting and of course i remembering falling asleep.
I don't know if it was because i was too tired or if it was boring but from then, I didn't really have a good impression of the movie.
But something really unexpected happened.
My bro bought the first series on sun. I didn't really expect him to buy it so fast because he just mentioned something abt buying it on sat and there it was, staring me in the eye, urging me to watch it and refresh my vague memory of it.
oh gosh. should i take this chance and find out if the second series would be worth watching on mon? I didn't know.
But I finally decided to watch it with my bro and his gf (i felt like a big lightbulb but no choice :P) on sun night and it was surprisingly funny.
I enjoyed myself throughout the movie. It was just hilarious.
Come monday, I was so excited that i would be watching the second series that i didn't even bother that i would be paying 7 bucks for a cartoon.
I have never regreted my decision. The second series was even better and of course more hilarious :) Its just overwhelming.
thanks girls for watching it with me, I loved ur company. You just made my mon better.
Hope we can do this more often ya?
Thank God too, because I knew if I didn't watch the first series on sun, I wouldn't even understand the second one or enjoy myself during the movie. Yes! Thank u God! :)

I met sharon for lunch today and today was really special because we went to BILLY BOMBERS! oh my gosh did i just say that?
I just can't believe it because I've been waiting to go to that restaurant ever since sec 2 but I'm really glad I finally went on tues. hooray for that.
The restaurant gave a really reminiscent vibe of the sixties or the marilyn monroe era. Its a typical diner in those days with shimmering chairs, marilyn monroe/elvis's portraits and milkshakes.
That era would really suit me because I just love milkshakes even though i didn't drink one that day because one was like $6 plus. Horrible. oh well, give me the macdonald's milkshakes anytime :P
oh ya oh ya.. have to mention the songs too. They were really oldies man. had a hard time trying not to laugh.
When we went in, I was "arguing" with sharon whether the lunch set meal included two main courses or just one. I was insisting that the $18.90 meal included two main course (1. oatmeal fish with fries and 2. honey something chicken leg with dunno what). anyway number 2 isn't really important because sharon was right and thus, we ordered the oatmeal fish. both of us weren't really excited about the chicken.
Thank goodness I was wrong because when the main course arrived, it was big enough for the two of us.
I've heard that one main course is enough for two but I didn't realise how true it was. It is BIG.
The food was ok i guess. not really wow or amazing.
when i told sharon, she said that was because we were not having the chef recommendation dishes. oh ya hor.
anyway, the set meal included a drink, soup and BEN & JERRY'S ice cream for desert. sad to say I enjoyed the ice cream more than the fish :P The ice cream was absolutely superb!!!
Its just too bad I can't upload the pictures i took because I took quite a lot using my phone.
Whenever a drink or soup or main course arrived, i would take a pic. After that I would show that to sharon then she would take another pic of it. haha so my phone has two same pictures except that they are taken from diff angles coz sharon was sitting opp. me :P now that i think of it, we were like comparing the pictures that we took to see which one was better.
haha.. sharon very thick skinned lor. when i compliment one of her pics she said something like "of course la. sharon take one ma"

After the BIG main course we had, we decided to be adventurous and order another dessert because both of us knew it would be the first and last time we would be there.
The stuff there just doesn't fit into our budget can.
The dessert prices started from $5.90 and the first thing we looked at was the brownie because it was the cheapest. But sharon said something about ice cream being fattening, not that i don't agree with her and we moved on to the next in line: delight sin. something like that la. not sure about the name. bad memory these days. But i know for sure the dessert names all had something to do with sin in them :)
yup. delight sin was actually a double chocolate cake with caramel sauce and white chocolate topping. when i saw it, my stomach was sending signals to my brain that i was full already.
The chocolate cake is like so thick and huge. HUMONGOUS.
I don't even know how i could manage eating half of it but i can say it was not bad at all except that it had too much chocolate. still yummy :P

My sisters, cat, jia xing, dai yan, corrine and bro ric and I will be singing two songs for christmas at ORPC (orchard road presbyterian church) so we got together to practice last night.
Other than "Count your blessings", we will be singing another song which I won't be revealing. its a secret :P The only thing i can say about the song is that it makes us sing horrid words but it is amusing in a way. haha. u will understand when you listen to the song.
we've pretty much gao dim Count your blessings and we're learning the new song now.
It will be sooo nice!
btw, does anyone have a good book to recommend? i think it would be interesting to read something i won't normally read :P
