oh gosh. if only fireworks could last..

I had a really nice time watching the fireworks last night.
Even though it was a big challenge, what with the crowd there. It was so packed!
But i'm glad to say, it was worth it! and i'll be back next year :)
I even told xiang we book restaurant to see next year. ha! but surely very ex. de..
So, the pies were somewhere near fullerton hotel because of the huge crowd and we had to wait like half an hour because the fireworks only started at 9pm and we got there at 8.30pm.
it was hell... ok maybe not so exaggerated but really bad.
We had to squeeze and get pushed.
Somehow, when i see the fireworks i start thinking that good things in life really don't last but it's these stuff that makes life more worthwhile.
yeah man.
After the lovely 10 mins+ of fireworks, we went to eat!
Actually went to gluttonsquare at first but it was so packed so we went to MS.
It wasn't even much of a difference, all the fast food places and restaurants were so full, we could only find a place at KFC at 11.
We wanted to cheong for the last train but in the end we still missed it. aarrrggh~

Xiang suggested taking cab to her place at redhill before catching the last train but it was so late already and the cab fare confirm ex.
Actually i won't mind but i was broke, only had 3 bucks left.

After that, we wanted to take bus but we couldn't find the opp side bus stop. Only could see bus stops at one side and the buses that pass there were all heading for the terminal already.

When all our plans to go back failed, ah xiang suggested we go watch midnight movie and then go back at 5 am when all the public transport started.

I still remembered that when she said that, I thought she was crazy because i never stayed out before. I was like "are u kiddin?" but the two pies began to talk very excitedly about what movie to watch.

When we reached the theatre, there was only Fast and Furious, My super ex girlfriend and the Death Game left.
As we already watched F and F together last sun, we couldn't watch that again.
We wanted to watch Death Game but only individual seats were left. No can do!
so only my.... was left.
Ah xiang was so kind to offer to lend me money but she couldn't pay by mastercard and when we went to withdraw the min was only 50 bucks.

It was disappointing not to be able to watch the movie but it was ok.
We went to the arcade! haha... it was fun watching xiang and di play House of the Dead and we played Daytona together after that.
At least i still had 2 bucks to play daytona after saving 1 buck for the bus ride later :P

After the game, we were discussing what to do till five and i asked xiang whether we could go to her place to sleep because i had church the next day and we really weren't prepared financially to spend a night out.

We had to take a cab to her place though. Me and ah di didn't have enough money to take a cab home so went to camp at her place.

My first sleepover! It was fun i guess... could sleep at xiang's sister bed.
But when we reached there, we only had 3 hours left to sleep.

At around five, ah di's dad came to look for her and i was so shocked because i was sleeping and i was woken up suddenly by a man shouting.

Me and xiang slept till about 7 am before I left to catch a bus back.
I was totally konked out taking the bus back.
When i reached home, i slept till 10 am before leaving for church.
What a day huh?

The good news is projs have finally ended! 6 long weeks of having to hand in projs every week. aarrgh~ 3rd year is really so hectic.
i'm glad its over.

But this means my exams are finally here. Thank goodness i have a week to study for the papers, otherwise die! so busy with projs to study. must jia you!!! :)
